Publicus Group ("we", "our") takes the protection of your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it, and what your rights are. It applies to the publicusgroup.ca website and to our business communications. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

We only collect data needed for the business relationship:

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), requested service and your message.
  • Communications: information you share by email, phone or messaging during our exchanges.
  • Technical data: anonymous or aggregated visit statistics (pages viewed, device type) where audience-measurement tools are enabled.

We do not collect sensitive data and never request banking details through the site.

3. Purposes and basis

  • Respond to your enquiries and quote requests;
  • Provide, manage and improve our services;
  • Send you, with your consent, information about our offers;
  • Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Processing is based on your consent and/or on steps taken prior to entering into a contract.

4. Processors and transfers

The contact form is processed by Web3Forms, which routes your messages to our mailbox. We may also use hosting and audience-measurement providers. These providers may be located outside Canada; we ensure they offer an adequate level of protection. We never sell or rent your personal data.

5. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then for the period required by our legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion at any time (see section 7).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or disclosure. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

7. Your rights

Under applicable law, you have the right to:

  • access the information we hold about you;
  • request its correction or update;
  • request its deletion;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email contact@publicusgroup.ca. We respond within a reasonable timeframe. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies

The site does not use advertising cookies. Strictly necessary or anonymous audience-measurement cookies may be used; if so, this section will be updated before activation.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. We encourage you to review it regularly.
